Modern Natural Kitchen

Modern Natural Kitchen

This was an extensive renovation of an existing 1960s home in Cocoa Beach, FL. The home had been previously remodeled, but was dark and did not capitalize on it’s waterfront location. The owner favored natural materials and desired to relocate the kitchen to an underused space. We removed walls, widened doorways, and opened up windows that had been previously covered over. We selected a light hickory hardwood floor, stained maple cabinetry, and White Quartzite countertops. A butler’s pantry was created to hideaway often used small appliances and for additional storage of food and pantry items. The owners can now relax and enjoy views of the water, while entertaining guests or working separately in the different zones of the house.
